The Kickoff event for Maura Hennigan's Citywide Campaign for City Council was a huge success! Over 500 people joined Maura throughout the evening. People from all over the city helped Maura kickoff her campaign for City Council At-Large on May 17, 2001.
Entertainment was varied and included performances from members of the Boston Arts Academy (vocalists Laura Regan and Kerry Ann Maguire and the band Razz, Rhythm and Jazz featuring Ray Fallon on trumpet, Adonis Martin on Keys, Zachary Rochester on Bass and Anthony Steele on drums). Dancing was provided by the Diana Bradley Tappers and Goodtimes Unlimited provided Dave Solimine as our DJ. We even featured baton twirling from Estrales Tropicales!
Our sincere thanks to all who helped make this an exciting event for Maura and her campaign.
