Letter: Lots to be fixed soon

Over the past several months, I have notified, through my Pothole Web site and written correspondences, the Public Works Department about the deplorable condition of the Corey Street Municipal Parking Lot. This week, I received a letter from Deputy Commissioner Joseph Kelly of the Boston Transportation Department stating that municipal parking lots are under their care, custody and control.

Furthermore, the commissioner stated that a work order to Mathias Paving has been issued and work will commence within the week. I am happy to pass this information on to the residents of West Roxbury area.
